They don't get very big, maybe like a big house cat size. Look at these damn things and how they move, they're like a cat mixed with a weasel mixed with a bear.
I'm going to find a way to domesticate these things and make a fortune, because honestly if these things were tame as a dog or house cat who WOULDN'T want one

maybe... but red pandas are in the weasel superfamily. they're a type of weasel, if you were wondering.
they have very little at all to do with cats, btw. carnivores (meat-eating mammals) are made of two basic types- cat-forms and dog-forms. weasels and bears fall in to the dog-forms, and the cat-forms are a whole different group.

Cool, but according to wiki
it is the only species of the genus Ailurus
Doesn't this mean it's not related to anything?
How do you think it managed to stay this way, is it a prehistoric species that was just untouched for millions of years because they live so isolated?
My friend who knows about dog breeding said I'd need atleast 50 pairs to maintain genetic integrity while breeding. How the f*ck do I get government permission to own these little guys?
Wow they used to live in Tenessee, 4.5 million year old fossils of them were found there!
