Well this one... Horry messed up the last shot, didnt he? Had he made these, the Spurs 2003 title would've been spoiled down 2-3 playing in LA for game 6. But I do not think the Lakers in 2003 were good enough to compete against the Mavs and Nets. We would've won the title had we played Mavs(with Dirk injured) or Lakers though.

Shaq would have destroyed the Mavs...who was going to stop him?

And Nets... Lakers in 5 games.

Well you have to understand that the Lakers in 2003 aint the same team they used to be in 2002, they did not even have home court advantage in first round. I do not see them getting past the Mavs in a 7 games series, but if they did then... Nets in 4. The Mavs - Nets series could be potentially more competitive though, easily went to 6-7 games.

Nets in 4, you're kidding yourself.
Shaq was still a dominant force and Kobe was coming off his best season. That alone would be too much for the Nets.

Game 2, 2011 Finals: Wade's running 3 at the buzzer after that epic choke.

Who knows if that went in, LeBron could've had his ring by now.

    Game 3, 1991 NBA Finals.

Lakers tied with the Bulls 92-92.

    Less than 10 seconds left.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBo6H..._order&list=UL

    Jordan had tied it up.

Byron Scott nearly banks it in.

Lakers could have been up 2-1.

Most of the fourth quarter for Portland in 2000 against the Lakers.

Terry Porter's missed shot at the end of Game 6 of the 1991 West Finals against the Lakers. Could have sent that series back to Portland for a Game 7.

Peja's woeful three brick against the Lakers in the last seconds of regulation in Game 7 of the 2002 West Finals.

I love those Kidd's nets teams... But they wouldn't have gotten passed the 03 Lakers.

Came here to post this exact play.
If that shot goes in Lakers have a good chance at the 4peat, Payton and Malone most likely wouldn't come to LA, Kobe may not have banged a white girl in colorado, etc...

How has no one mentioned Stockton's missed shot after MJ hit the jumper over Russell? That was very close to being in. If it had, that might have done a lot for both Stockton and Malone's legacies.
