Digging up pictures is pointless to dertmine his actual height. He's on facebook and twitter daily (Perkins has no beef with that however, only Bron). So someone should just ask him what his official height is.

I say he is 7ft tall without really being 7ft tall.

He has a very short neck, and if he had a normal length neck, he would have been easily a 7-footer. But the thing is, your height up to your shoulder is what really matters when playing basketball. So he is a "legit" 7-footer with extra long arms.

Had he had a long neck like Brandon Roy, he probably would have been 7'1'' tall.

No one plays basketball barefoot, the shoe factor is the legitimate height in the NBA.

What does that matter? NBA players don't all wear the same shoe and they don't all keep the same shoes they wear from one game to another.

That argument makes no sense and is totally illogical.

Just look at the picture above. Wilt Chamberlain was also 6'11" in his senior year in HS. He was measured at 7'1".06 in the NBA. Durant was barely 19 yrs.old when he was measured in 2007.

And yet he continues to say that he still measures at 6-9 today and all the pics show him no taller than that also.
