I'm no Lin fan but he has the same excuse. He came out of nowhere and now he's getting heavy minutes. You're acting like he's some seasoned vet who's been stinking it up. How many games has this guy started? Really. He's not the second coming but at this point who has more potential him or Davis? Jesus, if this kid was black you'd be making excuses for him. Give it a rest and relax. For the record I don't even like Lin.

he had nothing left in the end even though he hardly played any defense.

It worked out real good as they were to overcome the double digit deficit with both on the court making big plays. Baron had to be taken out at the end though as he was gassed.

Lin was awesome last night...and he played stellar defense. best defense i've seen him play. all his 3's were almost all swishhhhhh...just pretty

Baron played well too, flashes of his old self, big problem with him is if he can't get a layup, he sux offensively. Barons got a horrible jumper.

sux that Shumpert didn't play more since he deserves more run than he got. he hasn't done anything that i've seen to lose playing time even tho DAntoni said his focus wasn't there...but after 5 minutes?

Knicks should've won it, i don't know how they lost tbh.

i would have went with jr smith in the 4th four a little while. baron was gassed when it mattered.

also, although they were on the floor together for a long time, lin was +14 and baron -2. that's how bad the knicks were with lin on the bench.

Lin isn't the problem. It's Melo and Amare. How about bench Melo and Amare and start Shumpert and Novak???

Other PGs are torching Lin because you have 2 of the worst defending forwards in the league who constanty miss rotations and leave Lin on an island whenever he gets screened, he actually plays excellent 1on1 defense and is 1 of the better defending PGs in the league imo, he just needs better backup.

    This ^^^

Nothing Lin can do when Amar'e lets the opposing PG get to the rim at will to make an easy layup.

exactly...thus Lin can't play bad defense on this team because it is ALWAYS Amare's fault. Lets forget about all the bad rotations and times he get beat 1 v. 1 or when he senselessly runs directly into screens instead of going over or under...

    1. No way you bench Lin for Davis. Cmon now.
    2. It is Lins job to stop guard penetration, but it is his bigs job to help once they get into the lane. You can blame team d but Lin is also to blame.
    3. When the Knicks were winning it was all due to Lin and now they are losing and he gets no blame. That's rather hypocritical.
