I think offensively he would do wonders for CP3+Griffin like he did for Nash/Amare but defensively?
I would kill myself

Re: Mike D Antoni resigns as Head coach of the Knicks!
As much as I think run and gun is a beautiful way to play. He ran and gunned that offense to the ground. Good decision.

As long as Melo is there, the Knicks will continue to spiral downward..

That and, when he does play his way, he can't make layups or draw fouls effectively anymore. Unless he was purposely playing like shit to get D'antoni fired, which we probably can't put past him.

It was, at least partially. Anyone saying it's all him is being intellectually dishonest with themselves, but anyone arguing he was a positive needs to explain to me how.
He didn't hold anyone accountable ever, he favored offensive players over defensive players to a fault (he removed Schumbert from the rotation before JR Smith even though he's our best defender), he showed no flexibility (we could have every guard hurt and only centers and we'd still run) and his in game decisions were bizarre (fouling or not fouling, removing players when they were hot, etc.)
He was a terrible coach. Melo's been a terrible player. Neither one excuses the other though.

Knicks also switch everything defensively, and it drives me mad, but right now i coudn't care less how bad Woodson is, D'Antoni is gone.

no if he just got the ball and attacked the rim or put up a shot instead of holding the ball and creating his own jumpshot on like he always does he would have fit into the offense. he kills the ball movement with his isos
