Man that video is painful to watch. Howard looks like a deer in headlights for the last minute. Heads be rolling soon.

Unless Phil Jackson or Jerry Sloan come out of retirement and sign with the Magic, you've got very few choices of coaches as good as SVG. I guess they can give Mike D'Antoni a try, right?
MDA will have orgasms coaching this team.

I don't understand, his coach was asked a question, to which he responded with an honest answer, which isn't speculation, it was true. So what have I said that was false. Stop being an apologist for some fake Christian who stalks porn stars and has babies with groupies. Sorry, when it comes to integrity I'll take SVG every time buddy.
I don't care about Dwight's personal life, but clearly you're so caught up in it that it's going to prevent you from having an actual basketball discussion about the guy.
Yeah he's acted like a diva, this is the NBA, half the players in the league act like divas. Fact is the Magic have wasted the last few years of his career putting sorry teams out on the court with him. If Dwight influenced them to make bad basketball decisions, (I seriously doubt he had much to do with the Lewis signing) then that's just a further example of the Magic front office being incompetent and letting a player who doesn't know personel at all to make decisions for them.

Dwight should've asked for Otis to be fired. Stan is a chef trying to make dinner with shitty ingredients.

Apparently, this is something that may be part of why he re-signed. Don't expect Stan or Otis to be there next season.

Decent college freshman
Re: Stan Van Gundy confirms Dwight Howard asked Magic to fire him
What does Dwight have to really complain about though? Prior to the Magic's recent losing streak, they were in steady lead of the 3rd seed in the East. The other two teams are comprised of one with three all-stars and solid role players, while the other team is arguably the league's best defensive and rebounding squad. How is replacing Van Gundy with a D'Antoni or the other slim pickings going to make up that talent gap?
So the magic fires SVG, very likely won't improve next season and Dwight leaves. Where does that leave the Magic? Bad coach and bad players.

I'm not caught up in his personal life but it does give you some insight into the type of person he is. Does this have to do with basketball? Well it does here because he asked for his coach to be fired. His coach was asked about this rumor, to which he responded with an honest answer. And why wouldn't he? He's the guy who is trying to get this team to perform when it's in disarray because Howard has been acting like a diva all year. When Howard is asked about it he just lies and avoids answering the question. So yes I believe what SVG said was true and don't believe Howard. Stan wasn't stirring the pot at all. If you listened to his answer he said that it didn't matter to him. I would assume that's why he responded so candidly to the question. The thing is this, if you're going to say inflammatory things about your teammates and the organization, and talk about "how much I've done for this organization" then you had better put up and act like a man. He has not acted like a man this year. Staying out of huddles and dissing his teammates. In addition, he's just not a reliable enough offensive player to be a go to guy and his FT shooting doesn't help him at all in crunch time. He's not as good as he thinks he is and the fact of the matter is that only one team every year can win it all. Everyone else are losers. If you don't think that they have been trying to assemble a team around him to appease him then you are living in a fantasy world. How is it supposed to make Jameer feel when Howard does interviews and talks about how much help the team needs and how much they need a better PG? How do you expect Nelson to feel about that? Give me a break. That's not rumor or a story fabricated by anyone. If he has such a problem with him he should talk to him personally not air his dirty laundry in public. He can't have it both ways. He's a baby and he's overrated and will never be the number one guy on anyone's team.
