Re: Stan Van Gundy confirms Dwight Howard asked Magic to fire him
@Infinite, Nope. As I've already pointed out, this is not as binary as you'd like to think.
SVG didn't even say that. SVG did he was told by someone in management D12 asked for him to be fired. It's completely different.
---
@Shep, and who is to blame ? D12 who never said he wanted this power (in public) or the management who leaked all those rumors.
Seems pretty obvious for me.

Re: Stan Van Gundy confirms Dwight Howard asked Magic to fire him
its kinda obvious from the story that Dwight wants him fired.. there's 2 things that jumped out at me that Dwight said though
1) Dwight wanted to know what the reporters sources were
2) Why would I want to fire him with 12-15 games (whatever it was) left in the season?
I kinda laughed at the 2nd one because its a bad way to respond to the accusations.

Dwight hasn't learned the art of knowing when to keep your god damn mouth shut already.

Re: Stan Van Gundy confirms Dwight Howard asked Magic to fire him
I just watched that shit on ESPN. SVG is telling reporters how much he doesn't care if he's fired or not, then Dwight walks in like "What's up coach?"
Awkward as ****.

Lettuce beef real tea here, Dwight Howard runs the Magic organization, not Otis Smith, not anyone else. The Magic are nothing more than a puppet to Dwight Howard. It is sad really.

Yes you're right. In an effort to build team unity and construct a winner's mentality in lieu of the playoffs, magic management made up a lie and told Stan Van Gundy that Dwight Howard asked for him to be fired. Either that or SVG has gone crazy and started making up things.
Dwight would never ask for SVG to be fired, they get along so well. Can't you tell by the video?

Howard should have asked the management to fire the management... they made so much dumb moves in a row
It would be hilarious if the Magic fire SVG and hire D'Antoni.
