With Grant Hill to Clippers, Raja Bell to Heat remains a possibility, a player more likely to accept measured minutes in Heat's clogged perimeter rotation. Sulia

Re: Off-season
Is it really possible that Andrei Kirilenko could join the Nets at this late stage of free agency? He says it is! During a break in Olympic training Thursday, the 6'9" forward was asked by a Russian reporter about his professional future. - One can not ask about your club career? When will you make a final decision? - I do not know. Before me is a very serious dilemma. There are several scenarios. - Is one of them - "Brooklyn Nets"? - Maybe "Brooklyn Nets", and perhaps with CSKA Moscow ... NetsDaily

Re: Off-season
Jazz and Randy Foye agree to one year deal. Solid backup PG.

Re: Off-season
He's played pg but he's more an undersized 2. They could run him at the one with Hayward as the point forward though.

Not sure CJ is up to the Princeton offense though? As a young vet he might be able to fit in.

Denver would be a nice fit for him I'd think too. He'll play a larger role in Minny than Boston or Denver. Houston he'd play a big role too but they won't be as good as Minny.

Re: Off-season
A no-brainer because they offered him the most money, the biggest role, the best fit for his talents?
Sounds like he considers himself a 2. Everyone seems to think he will be the back-up 1 though. If he ends up as the back-up to Mo I'd say start Burks and bring G off the bench with Foye to faciltate the offense. Mo could use G too but wouldn't need him as much. Marvin looks like the starter with this move unless they go with Paul which makes little sense to me but Jefferson still being on the roster doesn't either.

Re: Off-season
Foye comes in as an experienced combo guard, having played both the point and
shooting guard, giving the Jazz yet another veteran ballhandler along with Mo
Williams, Jamaal Tinsley and Earl Watson. But he played
mostly shooting guard (his preference) while filling in for Chauncey Billups and
helping the Clippers make it to the second round of the Western Conference
playoffs.
From the Tribune. Prefers shooting guard. Be interesting to see how it plays out.

Surprised Utah is still in the mix. He'll have a better chance of playing elsewhere I'd think. Jazz can pay more than some of those teams though

Re: Off-season
According to league sources, the Warriors' reported
interest in free agent SF Josh Howard is, at the very least, minimal. Golden State's focus is still on landing a
back-up power forward, with Carl Landry atop the wishlist. Sulia
To be sure, some in the front office do like Josh Howard's
game. But something would have to go wrong in the Brandon Rush saga for the Warriors to have serious interest in a small forward. Sulia
Unrestricted free agent forward Josh Howard has narrowed down his options
to 4-5 teams, a league source told The Salt Lake Tribune on Sunday, and the Jazz
are still near the top of his list. "He's still going through the
process," the source said. Sulia
He feels loyal to the small-market organization, which took
a chance on the once injury-plagued forward during the lockout-shortened 2011-12
season. As a result, Howard has kept his eyes on
the Jazz ever since free agency started July 1. "They're still in his mind," the
source said. Sulia
Got to wonder if he's still on the Jazz's minds though?
