Exactly.... a championship (and the championship defense) was always the end goal, and I really never played any games unless it was an epic Game-7 scenario in the playoffs.
I always tried to keep the essence or "face" of the franchise intact so that it was somewhat recognizable a few years down the line. Upon selecting a team, it was either a relatively complete rebuild situation or it was championship-or-bust.
Every new association started the same way; dumping bad or unnecessary contracts for expirers and/or future draft picks, filling out the bench with high-value young players on long contracts, and inexpensive veterans, and balancing the books for future cap flexibility.
Good Times.

1. Shot clock and scoreboard disappearing in 4th is an issue
2. 3 seconds is rarely called. You can pump fake til your heart is content
3. Auto save can't be disabled
That's all I have for now. Besides hating HOF mode cuz you can't hit many shots, crapload of foul calls.

Yeah that's really stupid. I think it's because of the VC stuff. They have to sync to the server to record your VC. Or maybe they just didn't want people re-doing drills until they get the attribute boost they want like in 2K11 and 2K12

Re: NBA 2K13 'GENERAL' Discussion
Just played a full game. Here are my impressions:
1. I hate how they changed isomotion but I'll just have to get used to it. You can do some nice moves though.
2. LOTS of offensive rebounds by the CPU. It's a little to easy to finish inside too.
3. The obnoxious off-ball bumping/suction the CPU did in 2K12 is fixed. They still body you up but they can't lock you in place like they could before.
4. Steals are too easy. This may just be because of ratings though.
5. CPU makes lots of cheesy passes into the paint especially when passing out of a layup.
6. Pick and roll is a better but when you're the screener sometimes it's hard to pop out for a jumper when they trap the ball handler. It's like the defender pushes you sometimes.
7. Collision feels a little better. There are still some instances of me being right in front of a guy and he just slips off of me like I'm made of wet soap.

I'm terrible at rebounding and timing putback dunks. I need to play guards.

Yeah, I've noticed that double-tapping circle sometimes does a flop. I accidentally flopped trying to take a charge.

Re: NBA 2K13 'GENERAL' Discussion
Don't know if it's been said before but I've had it lock up 3 times when players are inbounding in the 4th. The inbounder never passes and I can keep running around calling for pass but I have to save and exit and re load before he'll actually inbound. No 5 seconds call either.
I've also noticed that even if i turn on the play calling overlays in the game options, every time i start a new game it's turned off and i need to turn it back on in presentation.
Other then that I've been happy after learning the new controls. I still find post moves are abit random and don't seem to respond well to what i'm actually doing with the controls.

Getting as much VC as I can get before I watch the Lakers preseason game. Had 12K but I bought a gray suit. Now back at 12K and my goal is to reach 15 K.
