As NBA commish he can block trades in general. Has nothing to do with owning a team
Ex: Not in the best interest of the league or Basketball reasons. League has to approve the trade

Dude! I read it but tanks! That Tweet said the two teams "were close". The Broussard Tweet I posted said the deal was in place and agreed upon by both sides. But thanks for having my back and looking out for me.

Deron, Johnson and Dwight is an awesome trio and can complement each other pretty well. But I don't think it is possible financially!

Even so, Joe Johnson and that contract is not a good consolation prize. Keep the cap, imo.
The Nets never had anything worth Dwight Howard. Look at the trash they'll send to Hawks for Johnson. Besides Deron, everyone else is trash and their record in the East shows so. The only possibility of the Nets landing Dwight would have been on a 3-team deal and still, who wants the Nets pieces and or is willing to give up good pieces to appease the Magic getting Net pieces in return - nobody.
If the Magic decide to trade Dwight...Lakers are on top of that list and with leverage. The question with all the drama is, is Dwight worth it after all his comments?

Prokorov must be desperate to show Deron how he can spend his $. go out and get the most ridiculous contract in sports as an example

I KNOW DUDE. It's the start of the Russian domination over the NBA with huge paychecks everywhere without giving a damn bout rentability. It's a greta day. Finally the NBA will become like the EPL or LA LIGA.
And Woj has learnt from the CP3 fiasco. It's still 90% sure.

Nets, of course, would've preferred to get Dwight, but Magic refused to engage in trade talks. Source: 'They didn't want to dance with us.'
