    76-77 Bill Walton

Going with the greatest all-around center this game has ever seen...Bill Walton. He can do it all, score a bit, fantastic passer, great rebounder & shot blocker, elite defender, basketball IQ off the charts.

    Regular Season - 19 PPG | 14 RPG | 4 APG | 3 BPG | 53 FG%
    Postseason - 18 PPG | 15 RPG | 5.5 APG | 3 BPG | 51 FG%

Walton & Bird on the same team? These guys are playing chess out there.

Just going for the best team, I always noticed Walton gets overlooked in these drafts. Maybe because his career wasn't long due to injuries, but when Walton was at his peak he was one of the best ever.

Bill Walton sans injuries...would have been epic.

    Damn that Portland Curse.

I was going to ask him the same thing.

I would have picked Walton if I was in 1987_Lakers situation though. I would have certainly taken this big over the other bigs available.

I was hoping that Kobe wouldn't have been taken so early though but it's Kobe.

I'm going to be mad as fvck if my perimeter picks are taken. They are so rare and secrete. My frontcourt is so boss though

Your boy Hakeem better watch out, Walton was the one who invented the dream shake.

    1993-94 Scottie Pippen

    Regular Season: 22.0ppg 8.7rpg 5.6apg 2.9spg 0.8bpg 49.1%fg 32%3pt 66%ft

    Playoffs: 22.8pp 8.3rpg 4.6apg 2.4spg 0.7bpg 43.4%fg 26.7%3pt 88.5%ft

I need a player who can defer and pretty much fill any role on this team. And since there have been a lot of picks involving some amazing wing players, I'm going to also need someone to try and contain them.

Pippen's peak year, for me, and his first year as the #1 option. Pippen was on All-NBA First Team and All-Defensive First Team. Was 3rd in MVP voting (some feeling he deserved MVP). Led his team to a 55-27 record (51-21 while playing), without Michael Jordan.

    Anti-Hero on the clock.

Were you going to pick him ?

If so, yeah, I can see how impossible it would have been to score against your frontline.

Dude I totally thought he was gonna slip to me.

My frontline would have been top notch all around. All facets of the game would have been accounted for.

Not too worried, since my version of Kareem averaged 30.3ppg (assuming on a high fg% too) vs that version of Walton.
