Still not gonna believe it until it's midnight. Not saying it won't happen, but it's not going to be true until it's true.

Melo and CP3 seem to think it's possible. They keep on commenting about it.

They aren't matching. Sucks. But anyone who claims conspiracy is a moron. Whenever people say its not about the money, that means its about the money.

Quite unfortunate. As if it wasn't difficult enough trying to keep up with the Nets and Knicks last year.

There might be a lunatic fringe who tries to Occupy MSG, but most NYers have already moved on.
The general consensus was that he wasn't worth the money, and went about the contract process in an underhanded way.

It's not about the money. It's ego and control. Lin isn't in that inner circle. Melo/Amare/Woodson/JR/Dolan. They don't want Lin, it's that simple. it's not a basketball decision. It's not a money decision. It's not a PR decision.....

Re: Knicks will not match offer for Jeremy Lin
Their won't be a huge outcry. But the Knicks burned what little leeway they had. If they are a middling team, they will hear it. Early and often.
Btw, as for Lins popularity carrying, outside of curiosity I don't see the NY Knicklins fans following him at all. The ones I know, it's done.
