Kobe Bryant IMO dominated as much or more than those 3 during his absolute peak... at least definitely Tim Duncan & Dream. Are we also forgetting Shaq wasn't a good defensive player, and never made a All-Defense team? Also why don't people use "IMO" more often and instead state everything they believe in as a fact?

After the Lakers won in '09 I think that cemented Kobe in the top 10 for the majority of people.

I remember even before '09 most reasonable fans already had him ranked in the top 10-12, but after '09 there wasn't even an argument to place him outside of the top 10.

Kareem, Jordan, Russell, Wilt, Bird, Magic, Shaq, Hakeem and Duncan are the only players that can be ranked in front of him. No one else has a case.

Take into consideration the following things:
- Peak play
- Overall career stats
- Awards/Records/Accomplishments
- Championships
etc. etc.

kobes career is right on par with wilt/magic/birds

anyone who ranks him well below this are just those types of people who throw out everything he ever did and say "its all about your best prime 1 or 2 seasons"
