It's a proven fact. Low gas prices = Happy Americans
Um, and when did gas first hit $4 in the US?

There's this one sad eyed woman in the crowd that I've seen like 5 times during this convention. I think she might be the cameraman's Mom.

Umm the 70's or 80's. It's true, look it up. It's gone up nearly $3 since Barry took office.

It was over $4 at deserted towns that you cross by while driving to Vegas from SoCal a couple years back.

It's over $4 in six states... It was under $2 when Obama took office.

I guess that's a tough question but I'd say Ron Paul or vote any other party besides Democrat or Republican. It's painfully obvious that the Democrats and Republicans are basically the same party and both of their points are the same, continue world domination, improve employement(although this won't happen), cut debt at a minimal rate, give old people a decent living, stop terrorism-kill osama, become the leader of innovation again but this is obviously not going to happen as all the money will be going for wars.., support israel blindly etc.

No mention of the bankers, the corporations, the evils of the US miltary, federal reserve, alternative fuel sources, end lobbyists, etc.

There's no point. We may see gay marriage legalized under Obama's next term but that's iffy.

You're clueless, aren't you? So sometime over that 20 year period, right? I'm sure 30 years ago Americans were paying $4 a gallon for gas which is why it's such a non-issue now

You know that site gives 8 years of historical prices, so you can actually use it to answer my question.

Are you really trying to blame this on Bush as well or what Bush left Obama a bad economy, we get that, but he left him with $1.85 gas prices. Gas prices going up last 3 years with Obama in office.

You asked when it first peaked at $4 and I gave you a correct answer. It was such a non-issue then because that was a once in a blue moon thing.

And it's gone up $3 since Obama took office. You deny this? Or is there something else you are trying to explain over here that the rest of us are clueless about?

Are you this dishonest or are you just an idiot?

Like I said, there's 8 years of data available on that site.

Do you want to show us the price range for the last 8 years or you would you prefer your idiotic dishonesty?

    Go ahead, screenshot that chart.

LOL who cares about the 8 years of data LOL!!! It's not like Bush is running for office or Mitt Romney is adopting the same policies as the last Republican in office.

There's a legitimate gripe here if you are not for Obama. We can try to help the Middle Class the most as what this party is aiming at, but the fact remains that Middle Class average income has decreased, Obamacare IS a tax that affects guess who?.....You got it, the MC! (Middle Class and not Motorcycle Club for your Sons of Anarchy Fans). If I have no job and I am not in the 1%, I'm looking for any break I can get. If I can't even afford to fill up my tank to drive to a job interview, then I'm pretty much screwed.
