are we talking anybody, or only guys who could create a shot? do role players count, or are these supposed to be players who are featured in an offense?

    1. Drazen Petrovic
    2. Reggie Miller
    3. Larry Bird
    4. Ray Allen
    5. Glen Rice

About Drazen, ask any of those players under him who is the best shooter they ever seen and they will say Drazen, infact you can find quotes on most of them saying that, including Reggie (who i considered the best shooter ever). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EUo5p6D990

Best 3-point scorers are Ray eggie and the bunch, but as the best pure shooter I'll say Steve Kerr or John Paxson

Nash > Rice in terms of pure shooting. Nash has to be in any top 5 when ranking pure shooters in NBA history. Nash has the volume and percentages to back it up.

Since the only guy I've gotten to really watch is Shuttlesworth, he'll be my answer here.

Nash is very accurate, but the volume is low compared to others... you have to consider the volume aswell (amount of of shots took and made, amount of difficult shots took and made).

Glen Rice at one point averaged 47% 3PT accuracy on 440 attempts (207 made shots) while averaging 27 PPG that season.... That is to brutal...

Remember to take into account that the 3pt line was shorter at that time.
