They currently have:

PF: Gasol/ Jamison/ Clark
SF: World Peace/ Ebanks
SG: Bryant/ Meeks/ Goudelock
PG: Nash/ Blake/ Duhon/ Morris
That's 15 right there - I know some of those guys are unguaranteed.
sign leandrinho, cut goudelock. why keep him when they have meeks?

Re: Barbosa: I'm talking to the Lakers, Steve Nash wants me there.
I would love Barbosa on the Lakers. Him and Nash have had success together. He aint 2006 Barbosa, but other than Kobe and Nash, the Lakers don't have a guard capable of getting into the paint off the dribble. And would add another scoring weapon
I would have to quit calling him pinche babosa tho

Re: Barbosa: I'm talking to the Lakers, Steve Nash wants me there.
I love Barbosa and Nash but im not exactly sure this will be a right move for the Brazilian Blur. The Lakers are STACKED at the 1/2 spot. So its either Barbosa will be severely under-utilized or guys like Meeks dont get the minutes they deserve. It could work, if they choose to not play Duhon/Blake/Goudelock/whats his face at all.
players+minutes per game
Nash 30 / Blake 12 / Barbosa 6
Kobe 30 / Barbosa 6 / Meeks 12
World Peace 25 / Ebanks 17 / Jamison 6
Pau 28 / Jamison 10 / Kmart 10
Dwight 33 / Hill 12 / Pau 3
something along those lines

I don't think Duhon is getting any minutes regardless.

I think he'd be better off going to a team that will run. Lakers are more built to be a halfcourt team.

They'd buyout Duhon before letting Goudelock go. Actually they'll probably do that anyways even if Barbosa doesn't end up on the Lakers. Maybe Earl Clark but they'll want to shed Duhon's contract before it's guaranteed in a month or so

Re: Barbosa: I'm talking to the Lakers, Steve Nash wants me there.
If its for the minimum, Lakers should highly consider it. LA generally has one of their starting big men out there with the second unit. so most likely we'd see a combination of meeks, barbosa, ebanks, jamison, or hill out there with one of either howard or gasol holding down the front court. not a bad second unit at all.
plus, this is a squad that can run and since there wont be an actual pg on the floor, they can even run the princeton offense that they supposedly want to implement

Re: Barbosa: I'm talking to the Lakers, Steve Nash wants me there.
Rationale tells me that the Lakers will turn to the Princeton offense more when Nash is on the bench, to keep the offense from becoming predictable and stagnant. If that holds true, then acquiring Barbosa could lead to small doses of success. Place him as the point guard off the bench; he won't have to garner the responsibilities of a traditional point guard in a traditional offense, as his role would predominantly be bringing the ball up the hardwood, spotting up, and slashing off off-ball screens.
Their bench of Hill, Jamison, Ebanks, and Meeks is designed to run, so Barbosa would not only fit in there, but enhance their capabilities in the fast-break. The signing wouldn't make or break you all's team, but his production definitely could taken from a "point" guard position rather than backing up Kobe at the 2.
Having three guys that potentially average 10 points per game each off the bench is a significant difference from having not even one player that could average 10 points per game. I'd say do it.

No, he's just another Laker fan that takes every rumor and turns it into a "reality"
