****ing finally. The rule should be, you're awarded a post game technical and small fine for each flop. And, after a certain among of flop-induced technicals, the fine is doubled.

When players start missing 1, 2, 3 games without pay due to the rule on suspensions based on exorbitant technicals, the flopping will cease.

Well, when you say Europe, it varies.

In like Spanish League for example, they encourage it, just like the NBA has been doing.

Some leagues, like Greek League, never allowed it to happen.

Some leagues, like Euroleague, started to get a real problem with it, not as bad as the NBA now, but still it was getting bad. So they put in a 4 free throws and the ball rule if the refs thought someone flopped.

In short, it's a problem in Spanish League, but not anymore in Euroleague/Eurocup.

The story does not state what the penalty would be... or if it would be during or post game... I'm assuming it will be post-game fines

This is just a band aid to the problem. These procedures are only to retroactively go back and fine floppers, it does nothing to stop flopping from happening in a game. They should of created a system where refs can review a flop and if they decided a player flopped he would be hit with a T. All this does is appease the fans who think this will change anything.
