Just got done playing my first game. Lost to the Wolves.

Timberwolves 56, Portland 42.

I felt like I played bad and did stupid things to lose. I didn't even get Aldridge the ball in the post until late in the 3rd. I was chucking up 3's.

I hit 2 late threes with Babbitt. That's just like in real life. He kills when the game is over.

Am skipping this one, I'll wait for 2k14. I usually get them every other year. Still playing 2k12. I heard they gave Dwight Howard really fat cheeks like a chipmunk.

Don't want to get my hopes up but this game is much better than 2k12. They really did improve things. The post game is better. Yeah there is weird stuff that is unstoppable but I feel like I have control over the move.

There are so many different moves you can make around the rim. Blocking is better in that the defender actually touches the ball. Defenders are slower to recover which is nice. If you move the ball you can get a good look without some scrub getting back in time to contest.

Presentation is great.

I also see some downgrades. Graphics are worse, menus are horrible to navigate. I agree potential of the gameplay, replayability and physics are way up though. The graphics not being smooth and taking a step back annoys me though..
