Initially on insidehoops I had developed quite a gimmick with how my personality was. Like not at all like I actually was. It slowly changed over time and now I'm pretty similar on ISH to how I am in real life.

I think Al Thornton would be a slight bit different in real life...I imagine SPK to be somewhat similar and extremely talkative.

It's actually a good question. If I have one problem with ISH it's that I don't feel like most of the posters are real people. This is my only message board I read and I realize its probably common place on the Internet but it just feels like you have to sift through all this bullshit to read real opinion, maybe I'm just too old to get it. I'm not talking about guys exaggerating about their hot girlfriend or how good they are at hooping, that type of thing, just talking about people speaking from their actual voice, representing themselves in the things they say and not just playing a character or saying things to get a rise out of people.

I think I am a little too real, I have revealed so much over the years. I look back and I don't know whether to be disappointed at the way I was, or to be proud of myself for how far I've come. Maybe a combination of disgust and pride is in order for this situation.

I do feel like L Kizzle is the most disingenuous person here. He's very,very Afrocentric. So much so that his posts tend to make me feel like he's just mocking black culture. Everything this guy likes is black in some way,shape or form. He's just so over the top that he's in gimmick territory to me.
