Strength and muscular endurance wise you cant get much better than a gymnast or even a cross fit athlete.
"Fittest" becomes too broad of a category when your trying rank with every sport along side it. Various sports require different attributes of fitness with makes it harder to compare.

Money for top quality medical care is a big part of that "super strength".

Yeah, Michael Phelps' pot-smoking is pretty irrelevant when you consider it was done in downtime during the off-season. It only put a dent in his cardiovascular fitness for a short amount of time. His body had to be in impeccable shape for the quest of all those golds in such a grueling sport.

I still can't get over how LeBron isn't on this list. Think about all those injury-free minutes he's logged and what kind of athleticism he puts forth on the court on a nightly basis. What a beast of a sporting specimen.

And, f*ck a Kenyan long distance runner. What about Kenyan 800 Meter runner David Rudisha? The 800 is such a tough race, and this fool has lowered the World Record twice... dominating his competition for such a long stretch.
