Jim Buss is horrible. Offense was fine in principle. He had one game with the starting lineup.

What people don't realize is that the Princeton is nothing but a motion offense, like the triangle and the flex. Its not me offense of choice but out have to give it a chance.

5 games is too premature but then again, they should have never hired him in the first place.

Mike Brown needs to coach a team like the Hornets or Jazz. Young talented teams with little superstar power. Veterans and superstars only respect a handful of head coaches, Brown isn't one of them.

On that note, I think they should give Brian Shaw a chance if Sloan or Phil aren't available. Shaw deserved that spot before they ever decided to go with MB.

Shaw would have been a better pick. No doubt. He deserves a shot at being a head coach.

Not at all. The problem was there atrocious defense. Mike Brown is supposed to be a defensive minded coach.

Brown should not have been hired in the first place, so though premature in nature this was an inevitable outcome. I think it was NumberSix who put it simple and eloquently a week or two ago: "The Lakers won't win a championship as long as Mike Brown is the head coach.

The Lakers issues won't entirely go away. Their bench is still a lowly producing one, and defense remains a problem while Dwight works into playing shape. The offense truly hadn't been the Achilles heel as much as the defense, though it does limit Nash's effectiveness in regards to his strengths as a point guard.

Mike Brown was simply clueless. Lack of in game adjustments, atrocious rotations, and the opposite of an inspiring leader in the lockerroom. And such has been the case since his days in Cleveland. He was not a helping piece to a championship caliber team.

You have to admire the way the Lakers organization is run as a business. espn is straight up blasting the move but I think it sends a message to the players that there is just no phucking around there. Heads are on the chopping block, crazy.
