I guess the bigger surprise is that Rice made it more than a month as a coach tho.

we do? I mean morally, yeah, absolutely. But logically? You beat up your coach your D1 career's over.

Meh, they're all like that. You take away like it's a YouTube mix. Look at their physical attributes, get a better idea of on court demeanor, shooting mechanics, footwork, etc.
Did notice Wiggins and Parker really attacked each other all game. And what Wiggins showed is exactly why I like him as a prospect. Barely touched the ball and I still thought he was the most impressive NBA prospect. He can dominate a game within the flow and doesn't ballstop.

He didn't beat anyone up. You don't have to beat someone up. Get in their face, maintain eye contact. You notice the way he handled players. He was lighter on certain ones. Why? Obviously because he knew they were more likely to bitch slap him.
I don't care who a person is, in what position... unless it's your parent, if they put your hands on you, you have the right to at the very least push them away.
It makes me think of all of the psychopath people that I've known, people that try to dominate people. And the sad truth is that nobody stands up to them. And when they do, like dude said, the authorities don't believe them.
And logically, that dude has way more to lose than a college bball player in terms of fighting, so why not go back at him?

Very good NBA starter
Re: 2012/13 Observation Deck
this whole thing makes you wonder about players who get a bad rep for clashing with their coaches. that tag as a coach-killer can stick to you for your whole career.

Re: 2012/13 Observation Deck
Wichita State jumps on Louiville 8-0 and Clark Kellogg proceeds to say Louisville hasn't been in a situation like this in the last month during their 14 game win streak. Never mind the Big East championship game where they were down 45-29 with 15 minutes to go in the second half.

Re: 2012/13 Observation Deck
If Wichita State hangs on to win, and Syracuse wins later tonight, this national championship game will rival the UConn/Butler game in terms of ugliness. Wichita State vs. Syracuse would end with a combined final score in the 80's or 90's.

Re: 2012/13 Observation Deck
Just hated that call. I know people say refs shouldn't take the time/situation into consideration when making a call, but my god... That would have been a quick jumpball call in the opening minute of a regular season game, let alone on a play that basically ended the game.
CBS can slow it down as much as they want in an attempt to justify the call... I still think it was a horrendous whistle.
