Re: 2012/13 Observation Deck
These refs are absolute trash. Terrible non goal tend call in the first. Trash foul on Trey in the first that put him on the bench for 14 minutes because Vag Face can pump then run into him. Then they don't give Vag his 4th which should have sent him to the bench, and next possession he draws Mitch into the pump and sends him to the bench. And most recently a totally clean block they call a foul.
Just ridiculous.

Big Ten drought continues. Since it's last title in 2000...
ACC: 5 championships
Big 12: 1 championship
Big East: 4 championships
SEC: 3 championships
You guys are like the Pac 12, with hype.

Purdue'll end it next season. Besides, 5 runners up in the last decade isn't exactly a sign of undeserved respect.

Oladipo's going pro, presser at 4. Not exactly shocking.

Ricky Ledo will declare for the NBA draft. Could be a lottery pick if he shows well in workouts. Too bad for Providence that he wasn't eligible this year. Would have been the best recruit they've had in long time.

Yeah, everything I heard and read about him last year made it sound like he was going to be a stud. And going to a school like Providence, where he would've gotten all the PT and shots he wanted, he could've put up some very good numbers for a freshman. He's supposed to a big time scorer with prototypical NBA SG size at 6'6". Will be interesting to see how high he can go despite not playing a single minute this year. He's got lottery talent, especially in this draft class, so it wouldn't surprise me if someone took him there.

Re: 2012/13 Observation Deck
it was a great season boys. Was a really thoroughly enjoyable season and the final was great too. The officiating was inconsistent but those two teams literally went to war and you can't be mad at that from a neutral perspective.
MSU taking it next year, Big Ten drought will be over...assuming Harris doesn't go pro, which he shouldn't

Meh, I don't really see a way for his stock to get any higher than it is now. I agree he's a fringe first rounder, but he'd probably get pushed down next year.
Speaking of this point guard crop, what's anybody know about Erick Green?

Re: 2012/13 Observation Deck
Green is not a PG in any sense. Although I've seen several players who aren't PGs play PG in the NBA lately, so what do I know?
Kind of interesting, rumor is Nike won't allow video at the EYBL this summer. IE, no mixtape guys.
