Greatest meaning overall most respectable? Def could be argued. Plenty of rings and is a pioneer of the sport we all love today? hell yeah I respect this man
And with modern training, taught better shot selection I honestly do think he'd be one of the best centers in the league today. DAT HOOK

Nice to see Mikan getting some respect on the boards. I bought his autograph a few months ago. He's one of the true greats, an absolutely dominant force and big draw in his day.

Yeah I don't see ANYONE mention him really...it's a shame, after watching a good amount of college and pro games in the early 50s I have to admit I really like there style of ball...All that passing!! TEAM fundamental game.
If you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back?
I'd love to start collecting stuff like that.
Mikan, Wilt, Russell(Idt he ever signed lol), Kareem, Walton, Dream, Ewing, Robertson, Shaq, Mutumbo ETC

Honestly, I was surprised at how many people shot there free throws like that...literally every single player! At that time, the way thats common today was "JEEPERS whats that classy lad doing!?"

I paid close to $200 for it.
Here's my collection (featuring Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Pete Maravich, Oscar Robertson, etc): http://s1132.photobucket.com/albums/...982/?start=all

He wanted to be respected as a man not just as some entertaining athlete. I'm certain that in his later years he softened his approach to signing autographs.
