graphics are fake in the sense that the graphics are only that good when there is cinema being shown between levels or stages.

Game play graphics are usually poorer than the cinema.

The graphics of the old man is probably from a cinema. We need real game footage.

None of the trailers should be taken that seriously...Kill Zone had a PS3 trailer that was pretty much on par with the one shown just now.

Yeah, I'm not feeling this social crap either. Call me old school but I like that distinction of playing my game in the couch and when I leave it the game stays there. I don't want random PSN "friends" challenging me for a street fighter bout when I'm not playing. That seems like farmville requests taken to the extreme.

Yeah, I play video games when I'm bored and have nothing to do. I'm never looking to play a game when I'm out and about. Seems like something kids would be interested in, but how many kids have the kind of money to get all this shit to play on the go anyway?

Price isn't official yet but.

It's basically as powerful as a PC. And has a controller with better thumb sticks and a touch pad and a share button so you can send videos/pics/etc of games or whatever to your friends.

Oh and after downloading part of a game you can begin playing it while the rest of it downloads.

New Killzone looks boss.

It's basically going to have low to mid range gaming PC hardware. Don't buy their "enhanced GPU" crap, top of the line GPUs cost more than the PS4 itself will. High end PCs will have easily surpassed the PS4/XB720 before they're even released, the same was true of the PS3/360 before they were released.

I'm really not that impressed by the graphics, it's really just a minor to moderate jump from the last generation. Graphics are good enough at this point, that it's really difficult to make a major leap. This is nothing like the leap from PS1/N64 to the GC/PS2/Xbox, I almost shit myself the first time I saw a PS2 in action.

Agreed, graphics wise we'll never get a stunning jump up again. Personally I just want all the ram I can get to do more shit at once on. The suspending a game to go and play another game could be really really good if 8 is good enough for that. I think it will be for awhile...but yeah.
