Peak has done everything right to promote their brand up until this point. They've spent loads of money on flashy advertisements featuring NBA players to push their products down the North American fans throats...

There's just something about that name and stupid triangle that prevents me from taking them serious. But in retrospect, the same probably could have been said when Nikes first started making waves into the retail world.

I own the black one and used for 2 years. I keep my pair as a nostalgia. It's still my most beloved basketball shoes, and 2nd overall right after my Reebok DMXMAX which has the most comfortable cushioning system I've ever purchased.

"Peak" is a stupid name but companies with names "Nike" or "Reebok" are not.

I always thought the name Nike was lame duck. And the swoosh is just as lame if not more.

Michael Jordan made Nike and the swoosh logo cool. heck eventually he had to get his own logo (jumpman) cuz he became too cool for Nike.

If anything, Rorion Gracie should sue Peak for making their logo looking too much like the trademark Gracie triangle logo.
