Lebron was on a planet of his own so much this year, that whatever goes for rest of years ...he isnt going to lose it.

4 time player of the month, won the direct encounters vs his main league mvp rival..and has the team record.

Lebron is part of the reason for Wade's resurgence. They've really learned how to play well with each other. Wade is moving great without the ball and Lebron always finds him, spoon feeding him with great passes

    Nope.

The "resurgance" is only a couple of games where Lebron was coasting and playing unselfish (including a game with a sore knee), a "resurgance" which cant be compared to Lebrons resurgance this season at all.

Next in line after him for MVP is Durant anyways, who has a worse record and a teammate that had a much better resurgance than Wade and unlike Wade played great entire season.

Wow you really dont remember how poorly he was shooting first couple of months. He was consistently criticized for this.

I dont disagree lebron is gonna win MVP but wade's resurgence has nothing to do with lebron and he is playing better than westbrook at this point(as amazing as he is wade has been better since february.Wade is playing fantastic because he is healthy.

Well as we can see according to Lebron fans MVP is awarded based off what you did before the all star break & nothing else after that matters

Dude, he's pretty much a lock. Sucks as a Durant fan, but thats reality. Unless they go on a huge losing streak towards the end of the season, along with shitty numbers from LeBron, i dont see how anybody else is gonna get it.

Thing is, there is no other guys to give it to. Westbrook is playing as good as Wade is right now so it can't be Durant. There is no star player who is doing it all by himself, like Rose was doing 2 years ago.

The fact that Lebron is having a legendary season and that there are no legit alternatives out there basically secures Lebron the MVP.

Wade is taking more shots, Lebron is averaging season highs in assists and season lows in FG attempts.... it has to do a bit with Lebron and i dont complain, i think this is great... they are winning...

About Westbrook, yes but he has performed/produced overall better than Wade.

That's because Wade was averaging career lows in FGA.

Did you really think he would go around averaging 15 shots?

No he hasn't you assclown, Wade the past 2 months has been better then Westbrook, and his efficiency is lights out better than Russell's.

Wades also been the best player in the 4th quarter since the winning streak, he's been closing out games.

The haters make me laugh every time. LeBron is the MVP once again.

    Deal with it.

It's already been established that having Wade on the team doesn't change whether Lebron is MVP in the mind of the voters and why should it? Also the voters are idiots but that's another story.

As has been stated, Lebron's chief rival for the MVP, Durant, is in the same situation that he is in. Both of their "2nd options" are "resurging" at the same moment. Here are the stats of both Wade and Westbrook in Feb. and Mar. (so far)

Edit: Also Compare the "resurging '2nd options" stats to the star players' stats over these same stretches.

    Westbrook
    Feb.- 11 games 25.5ppg 3.9rpg 6.1apg 50.3fg%
    Durant
    Feb.- 11 games 24.4ppg 9.2rpg 5.5apg 48.5fg%

    Westbrook
    Mar.- 3 games 34.7ppg 7.3rpg 6.7apg 52.8fg%
    Durant
    Mar.- 3 games 28.7ppg 10.7rpg 4.0apg 41.8fg%

    Wade
    Feb.- 13 games 23.9ppg 6.2rpg 5.5apg 53.2fg%
    Lebron
    Feb. 13 games 29.7ppg 7.5rpg 7.8apg 64.1fg%

    Wade
    Mar.- 3 games 24.7ppg 6.3rpg 8.7apg 58.2fg%
    Lebron
    Mar.- 3 games 22.3ppg 9.7rpg 7.0apg 47.2fg%

If somehow Wade had started to improve while Westbrook was struggling causing Durant to "carry" the team then Durant's case would be stronger, and Lebron's MVP chances would decrease. But that's not the case. Couple that with the fact that Tony Parker will be out a month, and CP3 has already missed 12 games, Lebron's MVP chances are pretty good at the moment. Barring some unexpected collapse or slump over the last 1/4 of the season, the MVP is pretty much his.
