    Congrats to Marc.

    A lot of posters here have somehow inexplicably convinced themselves that this was a down year for the award and as such a wide open race, but IMO that certainly was not the case. Gasol, Noah, and Duncan really separated themselves as the class of the league defensively (and Garnett + Sanders, among others had a strong season).
