Damn I thought Oden was the best center prospect in 10 years? If thats so how can we say Howard is better than him? Sounds like a bit of overhyping to me.

I was thinking about that when I thought "What can Oden do better than Dwight has done so far? Is he gonna average 15 and 15 in his first or second year?" I don't think so. There's a lot bigger chance of Oden doing less than Dwight than there is of him doing more.

Umm stupid thread until the other guys make it to the NBA.
Come on, Bosh, Howard, Amare etc... those guys have all shown us enough to know they'll all be elite level players in a few years if they're not there already (Bosh is looking awfully good playing injured this season).
For all we know there's some Kwame Brown's and Tyson Chandler's on that last who have yet to prove a single thing in the NBA...

Chandler has emerged as quiet a rebounder lately. To be honest, I haven't watched any Hornets game this year, but judging from the box scores, he's been pulling down some pretty impressive numbers, seems like a good defensive presence down low. Originally Posted by wonderboy905

Durant has really proven himself against average college bigs......
Let's put him above two guys who are at worst top 20 players in the NBA because again...he's shown he's better playing against some white kid who probably studies chemical engineering instead of practicing.
Don't get me wrong, he should be very good, but for anyone to somehow think he'll be better than Bosh or Anthony based on what he's done against crappy Big 12 bigs is hilarious.
