I for one am happy to see KD unleashing everything he has! Westbrook was the only one holding him back so now I expect 40-45 PPG.

Re: BREAKING: Westbrook has meniscus tear in right knee
Whoa, that was unexpected. Westbrook look really hurt, but still played heavy minutes in that game. I'm really sorry to see Westbrook go (who doesn't want to see Beverley and westbrook duke it out again, you rarely see physicality on the perimeter but those two had it), but at least it does, sort of, improve the Rockets chances. Maybe that' why he was bricking so many jumpers the last game.

Y! Story: OKC's Russell Westbrook could return within weeks -- not months -- depending on course of knee procedure.

my username is not a joke on rose but a joke on the big deal his injury has become even though people making big deal of it don't know him personally.

Hopefully soon. Real soon. Kevin Martin as the 2nd option for the rest of this series and probably the next if we advance, that screams trouble.

Good college starter
Re: BREAKING: Westbrook has meniscus tear in right knee
it depends what his swelling is like right after surgery. When there is no swelling in the knee he can begin his rehab. The longer he sits the more intensive the rehab has to be because it will have been a longer time without physical activity.
Ron Artest returned quickly because he had virtually no swelling, which even the doctor admitted is not normal, usually there is some type of swelling. So no one can really predict how quickly he'd be back until after his surgery, it's not as black and white as people make it seem

Bush League or Wise Gamble?
Then again, Andre Miller once faked a time out while everyone was not defending and made a layup.

And if OKC wins it all, will Westbrook throw a hissy fit and demand to be traded?

Re: BREAKING: Westbrook has meniscus tear in right knee
I haven't made my feelings about OKC a secret. That being said, this is pretty crappy. Even if you hate a team, you never want to see this happen to a player.
