Players do that all the time when teams take timeouts like that, its the playoffs, it's incidental contact.

Should I be mourning for Westbrook now? He got injured, really unfortunate for him and the Thunder, but my Rockets got a slight boost.

This season sucks.
Derrick Rose hasn't played all season.
Critical injuries to Lakers negated any chance to see there potential. Then Kobe the heart and soul goes down and misses playoffs.
One of the weakest years for the East.
And now this. They might as well just give Miami the trophy and lets all go home.

Thunder can't beat the Heat, especially without James Harden.
Coach Pop & the Spurs can

Just saw this. OH. SHIT.
OKC is done for these playoffs. They might still get by HOU, but SA will take them out IF they get to the WCF.
We looking at SA vs MIA if the Heat get past NY.

Re: BREAKING: Westbrook has meniscus tear in right knee
Unfortunate series of events. Patrick Beverly did nothign wrong tho.
Also, this really isn't that big a deal in all probability. If the Thunder get past the Rockets (it would actually probably benefit them to lose a couple games and extend the series as long as they win it eventually) Westbrook may actually be back by the next round. It's not like you're "never the same" after a meniscus tear. You can pretty much come back quickly and effectively. But again the question is can they hold off the Rockets without Chuckbrick? If so they'll be ok. If not then the injury obviously becomes their downfall.

He was still the same explosive self after that 2nd quarter incident. Its so tough to understand these kinds of injuries. Did Westbrook make it worse by playing as hard as he usually does after that incident?

I died a little on the inside when I heard the news. Out of all the people, why Russell? On the Beverly collision too? It's just really fucked up.
What exactly is the recovery time? Is he out for months? Or will he be able to come back if the Thunder make it deep without him?
