I hope people got out of the way, read they estimate 170000 people will be in the storms path. No idea if that means once it dies down though but it says missouri will be hit too

For you non-Oklahomans out there, here is a bit of perspective:

May 3, 1999 saw the worst tornadoes in world history rip through the town of Moore, Oklahoma.

Many are predicting that today's tornadoes easily surpass that, giving Moore the first and second worst tornadoes in world history.

They both covered nearly the exact same path, taking out many of the neighborhoods that were destroyed and re-built after the 1999 tornadoes.



Today's was larger, wider and caused more damage while on the ground, even though it had a shorter path.
