The source (Wade's ex) has an axe to grind, she's lied about Wade in the past (claimed he gave her chlamydia, which was proven false) and she tried to run off with their kids in the past. Already obviously not a good source, not even touching on the fact she never bothered to go to the hospital after getting a beating so severe that it broke an ottoman and a phone and her head slammed concrete. While she was pregnant. Unless she was wearing the Iron Man armor that's hard to believe.

On another note, Wade has been recognized as an a good father figure, and overall good person. Now to be honest, all of that can be PR and his true image is complete opposite. People also do have two double lives, they can be a church going outsdanding citizen in public but have a dark home life.

that's kind of where I'm at. I know this is a heavily male populated forum so most posters are inclined to disparage the "bitches" with certain vitriol.

But the fact of the matter is there are many battered women in this country suffering at hands of seemingly normal guys. Wade has also shown propensity for losing his temper and dirty tactics on the basketball court so it's not all that absurd for me to believe there are shadier aspects of his personality that maybe hidden from us from PR. There's been allegations by multiple people of him spreading STD and being general sleaze so again it's not like he's beyond reproach.

People point to the woman losing visitation and custody rights in court but should we not consider the fact that Wade has the financial resources that his ex probably doesn't have? and that's kind of important in these drawn out legal battles.

Didn't Kobe Bryant settle out of court with the victim in his rape case? I agree, the financial resources Kobe had definitely was important in these drawn out rape cases.
