Nba Live 14 vs Nba 2k14
First of all , don't assume 2k is automatically better because of the past games and please consider the gameplay more than graphics in your choice.. So
which one will you be getting and why (btw live 14 is next gen only)

Re: Nba Live 14 vs Nba 2k14
2K14. My player/career is pretty much the only game type I play, and I'm excited to see some developments for that hopefully.
Honestly, the Live 14 trailer didn't look too bad though. It wouldn't surprise me if that was only a cinematic trailer, but it did look alright. One small, personal gripe with Live was that the lettering and numbering on the players always looked too small and made the players look like they've got Kevin Durant type physiques. Looked a lot more realistic.
EA need to do something extremely special to get me to switch back to them though, it's extremely unlikely I'll get Live 14, unless it's going cheap in the future or something.
The 2K14 next gen reveal with 'Video Game James', that was incredible. Couldn't stop watching the gameplay clips with LeBron, Kobe and Ray Allen in the mix too. All looked very lifelike in my opinion, and no ridiculous light shine on the players or jerseys either, which was a small gripe I had with the 2K series.

How can I consider gameplay when I've played neither ?

Didnt see gameplay footage of either game. The trailors dont you show much besides NBA Live 14 crappy graphics. I'll stick with 2k but I have issues/complaints about their products as time passed. Hoping they address the problems from last game.

Re: Nba Live 14 vs Nba 2k14
How can we consider gameplay? The Live 14 trailer looks like it's not even the gameplay. It's just a boosted trailer. The players' faces look realistic, but the body type doesn't. DeAndre Jordan looked so thin that I didn't recognize him at first.
I'll most likely go with 2K14, but then again, I don't even know if I'm buying th PS4 or sticking it out with the PS3 a while longer. I know 2K14 is supposed to be for new gen and current gen systems, but I'd rather not buy it for PS3 if I get a PS4 any time in 2014.

2k14 probably, but I will get the Live 14 demo, if it works and there are enough different game modes I might get it too.

EA needs to just give the rights of ESPN to 2K.

Re: Nba Live 14 vs Nba 2k14
I would honestly consider buying Live. I still play NCAA Basketball 2010 with my friend all of the time because the gameplay is super fun and arcadey. I think if I were doing a MyCareer or something and wanted it to be realistic I would go 2k14 but Live could be a lot of fun.
