You started well, then your statement nosedived. Top 10 is fine.

Find me 5 players with better accomplishments then 5x MVP, 3x Champ 3x FMVP. Go ahead. Stop being delusional. You make yourself sound stupid.

If we used that logic, Russell would be clear cut GOAT with his 11 rings...

None of Lebron's titles have been convincing, he has won 3 MVP's playing with a superteam(regular season wins helps get MVP's) and he has one of the worst performances in a finals ever on his resume(2011). Had he not had the luck of Allen hitting that big shot in game 6, his legacy would of been severely dented.

    Just sayin.

He sure has the resume and it will keep on building up but to me he can t surpass these players
    mj
    kareem
    rusell
    bird
    magic
    wilt
    shaq
    dr.j
not because he s less talented or has a worse resume.heck he can even be a better player than mj after its all set and done.who knows.but these players are cult figures.they changed the game.because of them many rules were changed so they can t be so dominant.they are mythical figures that inspired so many people.they made basketball what it is and how we see it today.can you say the same about lebron?maybe we can say that after 10-20 years but now for me not yet.they are the epitome of how we judge a player at their position.i know many of you will bash me for putting drj so high but he owned his era.maybe not in championships etc but in people s heart.everyone admired him and wanted to be him.at that time there was a race war etc and it was profound for white people actually admiring a black person.he just like the other people i ve listed(perhaps execpt shaq but he was so damn dominant)they ve accomplished many things beyond basketball which is something that all the championships in the world can t compare to

Every great has been bailed out by their teammates at one point or another. The heat were dire for most of the playoffs.

    Well not to that extent.

Allen hit the most clutch shot in NBA history. If that shot missed, Spurs win championship.

Do you remember jordan ever getting bailed out like that in an elimination game or go missing in playoffs? Do you remember Shaq, Bird or Magic going missing in key playoff games?

Shaq has been swept 6 different times in the playoffs, Bird has lost as the favorite multiple times, and the Tragic Johnson Finals. You really let your LeBron hate get into your head.

Well considering there will actually be other good teams in the Eastern Conference next year (barring injuries), threepeating in next year's season would move him up quite a bit, IMO.

    1. Jordan
    2. KAJ
    3. Russell
    4. Wilt
    5. Shaq/Duncan/Bron
    6. Shaq/Duncan/Bron
    7. Shaq/Duncan/Bron
    8. Bird
    9. Kobe
    10. Hakeem

So anywhere from 5-7. He will eventually pass Shaq and Duncan most likely, but if he were to retire or suffer a career ending injury or something after threepeating next year then it would still be an argument.

Shaq in the playoffs was very good. Prime Shaq never disappointed and doesn't have a 2011 on his resume.

Bird played against real competition, HOF's and top 20 players and of course Magic for most of his career. He always showed up in the playoffs.

The tragic johnson finals, was against the formidable Celtics in which they battled each other over a 4 or 5 year span. These two teams were littered with greats, and its hardly a knock on Magic to fail against one of the greatest teams in NBA history, however he did produce big games all the way through and won a championship or two in the process.

What all time greats is Lebron currently playing against? Particularly in playoffs? Or are we going to count an out of prime KG and Duncan?

    Silk, nice try.
