Ben mclemore is the much safer pick. They need a scorer, and a go to guy.

I don't think it made sense for the Bobcats to pick Noel when they already have Bismack Biyombo. Plus, the knee was a valid concern. McLemore would have made more sense.

That being said, isn't Zeller considered the best low post scorer in the draft? I know the Bobcats needs shooters, but they also need desperately need low post scoring.

I don't think it's a bad pick at all. Time will tell.

Plus, there is no franchise player in this years draft.

Bobcats will be in position to get a top 3 pick next year anyway, and may win the Wiggins sweepstakes.

No. They are without kobe until november at least they need a swingman. And MWP is most likely on his way.

    Wasn't that bad of a pick. Gasol-lite.

The problem is that they are the Bobcats. Where that team is now, you need to take a high risk/high reward type of player. Drummond last year, Noel this year...

So Ryan Kelly is going to play the 3 in the NBA....that is without a doubt the slowest least athletic small forward in the league. Lakers are lottery bound next year

people calling the celtics losers or fail of the night don't realize that they would have been in a same position in a years time but without the ability to stockpile of assets.

Boston is not a FA destination so the only way to rebuild is to stockpile assets and make the necessary move for a star player when the time is right. This trade is similar to Walker to Dal for Raef in that regard which allowed to get Jeferson (because the team won 36 games instead of the 40's which they were projected, also part of the KG deal), West (part of Allen deal) and Tony Allen (solid contributor on contending teams from 08-10)
