All a blend of balance, power, timing, and showmanship. Blake is on the cusp, but I think needs to do more to solidify a top 5 all-time list

I don't think anyone should bash suggesting Kobe, Lebron, or Jordan on these lists. They are previous dunk champions (Admit it, Lebron would have won if he entered). Their reputations launches them in this category because they've ganrered more opportunity to showcase this talent. Maybe if Darvin Ham had 50-60 touches a game he'd be the greatest dunker?

Uh, no it doesnt. Their dunks from games does. Watch some old school MJ clips with his best dunks and he's easily one of the best. Kobe as well, especially since he won the dunk contest. LeBron* hasn't done much to be put in the same league with dunks. He's all power and no finesse.

LeBron's one handed slam is arguably the most aesthetically the NBA has seen. The way he cuts through the air like a knife.....you can almost feel the rim shaking in your own living rim when he dunks it
