Not to get into too many details, but unless you absolutely avoid or have never watched or read any type of horror/slasher/scary movies, books ect ect, you are a hypocrite. Where do you think the inspiration for those types of movies come from? Ever watched a movie about Jack the Ripper? Ever seen Silence of the Lambs? Ever seen Psycho? Ever seen IT the clown? Ever seen Texas chainsaw massacre? You feed these egos with your wallet in movie tickets, rentals, and DVD/book purchases.

Unless you are the purest dude on the face of the earth who has never seen a horror flick, you can't say you don't flatter these people...right? Logically?

Albert Fish. Not well known but the story is pretty chilling. Molested over 400 kids, eventually progressed to torture, rape, murder and cannibalism. Would then write letters to his victims parents telling them exactly what he had done to their kids. They xrayed his pelvis and found hundreds of sewing needles that he had pushed into his taint because he enjoyed the pain so much. Also histories first official serial killer Joseph Vacher. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Vacher His investigation basically lead to the first CSI case in history. There's a book on the case called The Killer of Little Shepherds which is a very interesting read if you're into the investigative side at all. Being a vagabond Vacher was very mobile in a time when law enforcement was not, so they had to adapt to catch him.
