Derrick Rose isn't awkward.
He's a great basketball player who has natural reluctance for being in the limelight.
He knows that if he didn't play basketball well, same people interviewing him..etc would lock their doors if he walked by their cars or flag cops if he bought an item from Barney's .
Bob Cousy said that Tiny Archibald was basically the same way when he coached him...
