proves the point I was trying to make to all the people claiming orlando had gotten raped at the time, you don't always need to get a star back in a deal for it to help your club if your looking to rebuild long term. Too many teams panic and opt to take another teams "star" who hasn't been winning anything for them either. All that ends up happening then is that your team is stuck as a mediocre level team that will be a first round exit every year. Makes money for the owners but I'd rather my team attempt to rebuild from scratch with a stable roster even if it fails rather than be stuck in mediocrity.

No doubt. When that trade happened everybody called for the head of the newly hired GM. Now he looks like a genius. Oladipo was a great pick, too. That guy clearly knows what he is doing.

don't get too far ahead of yourself though, I agree we aren't rubbish like people said but I fully expect us to be very inconsistent and once teams figure us out I see us having a big slump.

actually most fans I knew were happy we had the guts to go full rebuild, we didn't want to be stuck with lopez, bynum or someone like that eating the cap. Fresh start, fresh excitement and a chance to build a solid line up. I really expected Ayon to be better than Vucevic though, although he did have good per 36 stats or something if i recall.


Hennigan has looked great at finding contributors others missed, nicholson, o'quinn, harris, vucevic, moore, all those guys look like they can contribute in some form that other teams didn't see
