They beat an old ass and banged up spurs team and nearly lost. Look at what Durant did to the Spurs squad that was fully healthy and a year younger with Ginboli actually playing decent. KD was getting DOUBLE TEAMED and torched them so much. Had a game where he scored 16 straight points in the 4th for OKC. Spurs had no options and then Popovich called Durant the best player on the planet. Had they put Splitter or Diaw on KD for long stretches he's dropping 50 on them.

Thats why Durant is the best offensive player in the league right now. He's only improved this year, now using the Dirk fadeaway shot more than ever.
hummmm... how did Okc and Durant do against Miami during 2012 NBA finals?

He's gonna NEED a midrange game once the playoffs hit this year. Turns out shooting like 10/12 with all of the 10 being in the paint vs trash teams doesn't translate well to the playoffs
So his higher than usual 3pfg% won't stick but his lower than usual ft% is a point of concern.... hmmmm, sounds like someone is a bit flustered by the King's league-wide domination.

I think the real point of concern for you is that LBJ's 3p% WILL stick, and that he WILL continue to rape the league as he has done for the duration of your favorite ninja turtle's entire career.

In the finals Durant scored 30PPG on over 50% while being in foul trouble almost every game. Westbrook scored 43 points one game on just 3 FTA even though he was fouled everytime he went into the paint.

Unlike LeBron, Durant actually maintains his efficiency in the playoffs

    Seriously?

    Durant:

    Regular season: .593 TS% .515 EFG%
    Playoffs: .588 TS% .513 EFG%

    Lebron:

    Regular season: .576 TS% .525 EFG%
    Playoffs: .567 TS% .507 EFG%

They're both basically the same in the playoffs as the regular season. They both go up/down depending on the year, and who they're matched with.

Look at LeFlop vs Spurs both years or Mavs if you think he maintains his efficiency deep into the playoffs.

He's only had one good finals series for a player his caliber and that was where the defenders couldn't even breathe on him like Wade circa 2006

Look at Durant against the Grizzlies(2011, 2013), Mavericks (2011, 2012), or the Lakers (2010).

Like I said, they both have their ups and downs. They both average out to roughly their regular season efficiency.

Durant at 23 had the best finals series and playoff run ever for any player of that age or younger. You're a clown.

Not if you base on the percentage of making/missing. It is a less percentage shot.

If you take the extra point into considering, then yeah it is. But it depends on how well you shoot it.

    Shaq was 23 in 1995.

you're a LeBron basher/lame anyway so carry on with your thought.
