why do people listen to miley?

I don't know. I started liking her in 2006 because she was an adorable, sexy little 14 year old girl.

All I know is that her album outsold Lady Gaga's, so Miley is the new biggest female pop star in the world. Props to her for being a marketing genius I recognize that her singing voice is 4 or 5 levels below the best of the best, but I still think she has a nice voice and some nice songs. She's a better singer than Britney Spears and others who blew up.
