I always thought Chalmers was a dirty player. He's also smart, so some of the stuff he does is really hard to see. He gets a lot of foul calls this way.

I don't think the elbow was unintentional. It's not like he tried to swing his arm around in order to get through and hit Dirk accidentally. And if Dirk was really holding his hand, he doesn't even get his elbows high enough to elbow him. Also the replay was very clear. Moreover I didn't see anyone on Miami's bench standing up for Chalmers, which also says something about the situation imho.

Chalmers' hand was not being held. It was Chalmers, who grabbed Dalembert, not the other way around. You could maybe argue Dirk's was about to set an illegal screen, but Chalmers took a swing even before that contact happened.
