Default A great era specific talent...

    Kobe Bryant.

It seems the game is too fast for him these days, and he can't dominate the way he used to, or even be close to efficient these days.
Kobe was a great player back when the league was at its weakest, but now that the game has moved on, can Kobe stick it out, or will we see him in a 7th or 8th man role off the bench?

I'm sure we all remember the glory days of when a 45% (league average) shooter was given the green light to shoot as much as he wants. A great era specific player was created, not so much naturally, but more forced. It was a fun time, but now that we have more efficient and dominant players, does Kobe have a role in this league? Maybe the victory cigar once the game is locked up? Maybe time to hang them up and teach the younger bench players their role?

What is your take on this great, era specific player, who's time seems to be running out? Can he change his game at the age of 35 and become a better player than hes ever been, which is what would be needed?

This is a homage thread to a player you just won't get to see today due to more efficient, and technically better players taking the majority of the shots. He sure was exciting though.

Is that OP? Pretty handsome dude. If you were tryna clown him by postin that, you failed

To OP: yes, I believe the game has passed Kobe. He played well in a weak era but chucking does not work in today's game. LeBron and Durant are headlining a new generation of superstars

6'3, 225lbs. I think I'd have an easier time than Kobe getting to the ring and putting up a more efficient shot these days.

You can find that picture in the post a pic of yourself thread.

    I look good there.
