    Default Raptors say goodbye to DJ Augustin

    The Toronto Raptors announced Monday they have waived guard D.J. Augustin. Augustin was signed by the club as a free agent July 22.

    "Adequate" is a pretty generous word for him. He's below average even for a backup.

    haha these people who are asking, "why did this happen" "can our team sign him" have obviously not watched him play this season. but i honestly cant blame them for that, but only because i dont think hes played 1 minute this season. then again, maybe he has.

    but it just goes to show you that if he cant get back up minutes on a team with no back up PG, then maybe your burning desire for him isnt as warranted as you think

    he was pretty bad for the pacers last year. but played decent with the cats. but thats cause they really had no one else at the time.
