Will the Pacers beat the Bulls' 72-10 regular season record?
They're 20-3 and very much on "pace" to break it.

Actually, even at 20-3 they STILL aren't on pace to tie much less break. So NO. NOT CLOSE.

Agreed. The 95-96 Bulls went 41-3.

The Bulls were 41-3 at one point. If Indiana can put together a really long winning streak they'll have a slight chance.

Knicks all da way
Re: Will the Pacers beat the Bulls' 72-10 regular season record?
they are on pace for 60-9.... that means they are NOT on pace to break it, unless they win 13 more games after they reach 60-9. 5th grade mathz, yo

Terrible logic. If you make it to the NBA, you're one of the best basketball players in the world. On any given night, any team can win due to injuries, hot streaks, bad coaching decisions, good/bad matchups, etc.
It's impressive regardless. You can't take away the effort the Pacers are giving just because they're playing better and smarter than most teams.

Yeah but don't you see his point? The East is literally on pace to be the worst conference ever. Their record vs the west is like 20% wins, 80% losses. If Pacers were in the West they'd be like the 3rd or 4th seed IMO. Behind OKC, SA, and potentially Portland.

In 1997 there were even more bottom level teams in the league with even worse records than some of the struggling teams right now. Therefore, by your own logic, we can't take the '97 Bulls record seriously because that season was a joke in terms of parity.
