There might a connection.
We still don't know what Kobe is yet, we can't make that assumption until he has played at least more than 15-20 games or so.

Look at the post I bolded from him, that proves he is a moron

Joe Johnson was a bad signing, but I can argue that Kobe is one of if not the worst player in the league. And he is the highest paid! Not to mention they gave him the extension while he was recovering from a possible career ending injury and they had yet to see him play a game. 6 games later and hes out again.

For sure. It is too soon to reach the conclusion, but if Kobe sucks, you can't use "nobody thought about it" excuse.

It's not really an excuse, I will hold him accountable if he does not get back to 3/4 of what he was before the injury. But until then, to suggest he is the worst contract signing in history isn't right.

I challenge you to find a player this year who has less win shares than Kobe. And this is with Kobe only playing 6 games. His winshares per 48 is historically bad.

says the guy that posts in literally EVERY thread I make bitching, but never once brings any sort of argument to the table.

He's right, purely production wise he was legitimately awful and he's gonna get paid more than anyone to be awful.
Edit: definitely not the worst, but a very bad contract for sure.

And you're basing this off of the first 17 years in the league or his last 4 games?
