Skip Bayless (aka known controversy stirrer) just accused Kobe of being lazy

On First Take, he claimed "sources" that said that Kobe was not watching his diet well enough and was lounging around too much during his recovery and then essentially crammed intense workouts right before his return.

Take this however you will, but sources weren't mentioned and Skip is known for intentionally saying what will get people mad for ratings. Stephen A. Smith (always sides with Kobe) didn't dispute it and shrugged it off as 'just a mistake' on Kobe's part.

Found this interesting, because of all the criticism I've ever heard of Kobe, being lazy was never one of them. Skip emphasized not being disciplined with his diet more than lounging.

What? Ice baths are much easier for athletes to endure than watching their diet. Your muscles and joints hurt after workouts and the ice baths help relieve those pains (I loved ice baths after workouts when training). Meanwhile, intense workouts make you hungry and you can crave tons of food. I think Kobe is one of the most intense and dedicated athletes the NBA has ever seen, but taking ice baths does not mean dieting will be easy.

I do side with Skip with this one. Kobe lost a lot of his mojo after coming back from injury. He became humbled by this whole recovering experience and a lot of it may be due to his age. When he does interviews, he doesn't speak with fire/venom anymore. He's tooooo chill...no sense of urgency but then again, his team isn't going to be making any noise this year anyway. Very sad. Wanted to see Kobe come back with vengeance.

No, he never was, he was just speaking objectively. Bron stans thought he was a Kobe tard just because Skip didn't hate on him like other Bron stans and Bruce Blitz do. Just cause you not hatin, doesn't make you a fan. When they compare Kobe to Jordan is when Skip dogs Kobe.

Kobe admits his diet was bad while he was out with injury. But i think skip is just speculating since he needs to try and stay relevant with more and more people exposing him everyday.
