    2. He has never took full advantage of his physical talent. Hes soft and doesnt like contact. He settles for too many jumpers and doesnt like driving to the rim. When he does drive to the rim he settles for low percentage floaters instead of going strong and drawing fouls. He plays like hes 5,10.
I am also a hawks fan and this guy nailed it perfectly, especially regarding his softness. I've never seen someone that tall rely on floaters that much instead of going in with toughness.

Johnson had a very good career. I'm sure if he didn't play in a small market(atlanta) and played in a big market for his whole career he would have gotten more recognition and fame.

The Hawks drafted Marvin Williams instead of Chris Paul or Deron Williams.

If Hawks had picked Paul or D-Will, his career would have been totally different.

    Paul-Johnson-Smith-Horford-Pachulia = championship contender.

Because JJ isn't that burning type competitor other players are. If the Nets played an elimination game vs. the Nets playing a meaningless game at the end of a season, it doesn't change what JJ does. He might be great, he might not. He's always that same level, good but not great. He has moments, but it's not related to the situation.

JJ's not a superstar, it has nothing to do with being in Phoenix and then Atlanta. He's getting more acclaim now but he's not a superstar because his talent level and production aren't a superstar.

This. He's a great number 2 or 3 guy. Cannot be your main superstar.

Its just not enough of intangibles..... not enough consistency, leadership, will-power & competitive drive.
