Too bad there's rarely enough space on the floor for a PF to take another PF off the dribble, anyway. Dirk's whole team has been designed around that in the past.

I'm about 5'10" in shoes and whenever i see anyone over 6'4" i can't imagine how someone so tall could possibly get low enough to dribble a basketball in a coordinated manner. Yet in the NBA you have guys who are 6'10" doing things with the ball like this. It's mind blowing thinking about a guy that size doing stuff like that.

Get outta here shorty! You don't have to be a midget to be able to dribble the ball.

Its because he needs to learn how to post up and score with his back to the basket not f*cking dribble around pretending hes a guard. Why is he even practicing this shit?

It's more like 1 - 2 times a game. He pushes the ball up court with out a guard.

Even if he doesn't score it leads to transition jumpers from other players.

He's in his 4th year still developing his game. We'll see more and more of this in the future.

I bet you we wont. Theres nothing wrong with having the ability to do this in your pocket, but I hope hes not actively practicing ball handling like that all the time. Take that 1 -2 times a game in the regular season which turns into 1 - 2 times a playoff series which makes it an almost useless skill for 6 10 player to have. Especially one who struggles with traditional aspects of PF play.
